Hood to Coast The time to start is now. Are you ready for the “mother of all relays”? Hood to Coast has been a NW tradition for over 30 years. It is the largest relay race in the entire world. Starting at Timberline Lodge at the base of Oregon’s majestic Mt. Hood 1050 relay teams will run and walk their way all the way to Oregon’s beautiful Seaside, located on the Oregon coast. All in all racers will cover just about 199 miles of beautiful NW terrain. Running legs from the mountain, through Gresham and SE Portland, along US 26 and all the way to our beautiful coastline.
