Are you ready for the “mother of all relays”?
Hood to Coast has been a NW tradition for over 30 years. It is the largest relay race in the entire world. Starting at Timberline Lodge at the base of Oregon’s majestic Mt. Hood 1050 relay teams will run and walk their way all the way to Oregon’s beautiful Seaside, located on the Oregon coast.

All in all racers will cover just about 199 miles of beautiful NW terrain. Running legs from the mountain, through Gresham and SE Portland, along US 26 and all the way to our beautiful coastline.

Hood to Coast is a non-profit organization and much of the benefits go to the American Cancer Society. Hood to Coast started as a small relay in 1982 and today has more than 15,000 participants. The 2012 relay took place August 24th and 25th. So are you up for the challenge? Join a team or start your own. Teams range from minimum of 8 and up to 12 racers. Once you reach the finish line get ready to party! The Hood to Coast is host to the largest beach party on the west coast with live entertainment, vendors and much more!
